Post-Trauma Relief and Meditation Program

The Earthquake in Nepal on 25th April 2015 killed more than 8,500 peoples making more than 20,000 people were injured and more than 7,00,000 houses were damaged. At this bad time many of the people in Nepal going through mental Post- trauma causing stress and even depression. Realizing the need to relief people from this mental state, on the occasion of international Yoga day on 21st June, a Post –trauma relief and meditation program was held on Hotel Hyatt Regency. The program was organized by Sri Sai devotee Yogini Ma Prem Dhyana and a team including Rajesh Tandukar, Nyazing Sherpa and founder team of Himalayan Social Foundation.
During the program Ma Prem Dhyana trained 36 people where she taught meditations and gave Singing bowl, sound therapy technique for releasing stress created by recent Earthquake and its trauma on the people. The Program was divided into 2 sections where in first two hours through yoga and dhyan ma Prema Dhyana helped trainee relief their mental trauma. In the second section she trained 20 facilitators, so that they will help others too. She also provided certificate of facilitator on meditation for trauma relief to 20 trained facilitators. These facilitators will be organizing this program in earthquake relief camps in different places. People from different profession like businessman, IT person, Journalist, Politicians and students had participated in the program. These 20 facilitators will create their own groups and help other people who are going through the stress and mental trauma after the disaster that took place on 25th April.
These kind of program can help people get out from this stress and be normal so that they can help other needy ones.
