Gokyo Everest Base Camp Trek


This trek is a combination of the Gokyo Lake and the Everest Base Camp. A visit to Gokyo Ri offers magnificent view of Cho Oyu , Everest, Lhotse , Nuptse and Amadablam. We then cross over the Cho Lo pass and visit the Everest Base Camp.

This trek also offers a walk through th emost dramatic landscape and magnificent views of the mountain range in the region.

Everest Base Camp trek has everything: the incredible mountain views from Chukung, Kala Pattar and Gokyo Ri . Popularly known as "The Ultimate Trek," it includes all that the Khumbu has to offer including the fascinating villages and Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and the culture and hospitality of the Sherpa people, who will surely win your heart. After starting with a flight to Lukla (2,805m/9,200ft) we trek up to Kala Pattar view point (5,550m/18,200ft) trek up the Khumbu Glacier to Everest Base camp set under the awesome Khumbu Icefall. Then we veer off the main trail to cross the Cho La pass (5,422m/17,783ft) into the Gokyo Valley. To top off this unique trek we climb Gokyo Ri (5,488m/18,000ft) for a panoramic view of the greatest mountain scenery in the world - including five 8000+m/26,000+ft giants and myriad other peaks of the Khumbu Himal.

Day 01: Kathmandu (Arrival day and Transfer to hotel) - 1340M

Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2840M) & Trek to Phakding (2800M) - Approx.4 hrs

Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazzar (3440M) - Approx- 6 hrs

Day 04: Trek to Syangboche, Rest/Acclimatization and Back to Namche Bazzar- approx 3 hrs

Day 05: Trek to Portse Tanga (3790M) - Approx 4/5 hrs

Day 06: Trek to Dole (4200M) - Approx 3 hrs

Day 07: Trek to MachherMo (4470M) - Approx 4 hrs

Day 08: Trek to Gokyo- RI (4750M) – Approx 4 hrs

Day 09: Trek to Gokyo Peak (5463M) and Back to Gokyo Ri- approx. 4 hrs

Day 10: Trek to Dragnak- Approx 3 hrs

Day 11: Trek to Cho-la Pass (5368M) & Trek to Dzongla (4860M) - approx 7 hrs
