Pramod Kunwar - Chinese Tour Specialist

Pramod Kunwar Managing Director of Himalayan Idol Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd. is young and dynamic entrepreneur running his own travel company since 2006 A.D. He normally organizes all types of tour and travels for tourist from any country. But he is specialized in organizing tours for Chinese tourist. He shared his experiences with NTN that Chinese groups are difficult to handle and not easy to make them satisfy. But also he is enjoying this job.

Mr. Kunwar born in Salyankot -2 of Dhading district in 1980. He is the elder son of his parents. He has a brother and three sister’s altogether. After his general education in Dhading, he moved to Kathmandu for his further education. He has completed B.A. from Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus. While he was in college, he started to work in travel agency. After his graduation, he started to work as a trekking guide in Highlander Treks & Expedition [P] Ltd from 2001 to 2005. Pramod gathered experiences & knowledge from trekking and tours. He becomes more confidence and can communicate with different people from different country. He is determined to do something in tourism so he left the trekking guide job and join Center point hotel to know about the hotel services. He used to see travel desk in centre point hotel from 2005 to 2006. With these experiences with fluency of Chinese language, he started his own travel company as Himalayan Idol Travels and Tours (P) Ltd. Basically he has been organizing tours for Chinese. Sooner, he is going to launch trekking services for tourist. He thinks key major is the peace to promote tourism in Nepal.
