Ram Sapkota: Eco tour Organizer

Ram Sapkota (Kamal), Managing director of Mountain Delights Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd Is very much concerned in eco tourism. He is always promoting new tourist destinations by arranging trekking and tour packages. Regularly, he organizes eco trekking packages in Ganesh Himal Trekking region.  He is Young dynamic entrepreneur not only focusing in tourism hospitality but also in social work by associating in different social organization. One of the examples is Tukee Nepal Society which is fully concerned in orphanage children education and health.  By his active participation, he not only forms Tukee Nepal society but also became the president of the organization. He regularly collects the fund by organizing trekking /tour packages in all over the country. His company mountain delights is the member of different tourism related agency such as TAAN, NMA and many more. Swedish tourists are the regular clients of the Mountain Delights and Mr. Ram is specialized to handle them. 

Mr. Sapkota is born in Jayamrung -4 of Dhading district in 1975. He is graduate in Education stream and can fluently communicate in English language. Initially, he works as porter in trekking agency. Likewise, he groomed his career in tourism as a trekking guide in Highlander Treks & Expedition [P] Ltd from 1997 to 2004. He has successfully completed trekking in all trekking regions of Nepal including peak climbing such as Mera Peak and Island Peak. He is fully organized and informative regarding all the destinations in which he regularly manages tour and trekking services. His 13 years career in tourism makes him bold and confident. At present he runs his business not only for profit generation but also to serve the rural people of trekking destinations.

During interaction Mr. Ram shared the challenges of tourism industry in Nepal that the government must take proper action to regulate tourism policy to develop infrastructure in tourism hospitality as well as to promote the eco tourism to maintain the ecology of Nepal. Finally he shared that he is regularly work to promote tourism and social work.
