Mountain Training

The 20-member team of public service officers has successfully reached the peak of Yala Peak in the Langtang region on Monday. The peak is 5,560 metre high. This is the only training programme for the proposed Mt Everest ascent. The team included 20 trainees and 6 trainers. The training programme was organised and managed by Mountain Training Academy Development Board affiliated to the Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation.
