Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Mid -Hills cultural areas inhabited by Gurung, Magar, Brahmin and kshetri castes, Dramatic views of Annapurna and fishtail on the way to and from Base Camp. Vast range of bio-diversity on the trail conserved wild life and vegetation, natural hot spring. Fly or drive to Pokhara, by land 6 hr. drive and by air 30 minutes. The maximum Altitude is 4180 m. Everyday almost 5-6 hrs gentle walking per day, trek starts after breakfast, moderate trail. The best time to trek is September to mid of December and late March to May (Sept. to Dec. best season). Teahouse lodges, managed by ACAP and eco-aware local people. Tented camping trip also can be organized, safe drinking water project facilities.

Itinerary of Annapurna Base Camp Trek:

* Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu airport or Zhangmu (Nepal Tiber border), transfer to hotel in Kathmandu.
* Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus/ private car/ flight. Over night stay at hotel.
* Day 3: Pokhara drive to Dhampus Phedi then trek to Deurali (2080M) then over night at tea house 2100M
* Day 4: Deurali trek to Chhomrung about 5 hours then overnight at tea house 2170M
* Day 5: Chhomrung trek to Dovan (2600) then over night at tea house
* Day 6: Dovan to Machhapuchhre base camp (MBC) 3700M overnight in tea house.
* Day 7: MBC to Annapurna base camp (ABC) 4130 M then back to Himalaya.2900M overnight at tea house.
* Day 8: Himalaya trek to Chhomrung then over night at tea house.
* Day 9: Chhomrung trek to Ghandurk village over night at tea house 1900M
* Day10: Ghandurk Village trek to Nayapool then drive by bus/ car to Pokhara one hour then over night at hotel. Trek end.
* Day 11: Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus/ car or flight then overnight at hotel.
* Day 12: departure back home or connecting onward journey.
